Display Stand - 2 piece
thingiverse
A display stand in standard and compact versions is available. This stand is highly versatile and can be printed to any size required! It's ideal for displaying CDs, or large enough to showcase pictures, books, etc. Printing proceeds quickly! I use a .6mm nozzle with a resolution of .4mm. As a result, each side takes about 45 minutes to print. In some cases, it's faster to print and assemble than rushing out to buy something similar! This stand comes in two pieces that fit together smoothly, so some filling may be necessary. However, no glue is needed. Keep in mind that this design may be larger than your print bed. I scale both parts down to accommodate various needs. The goal is a versatile piece that can be easily resized in the slicer to suit individual requirements. The infill percentage can be adjusted based on the weight and size of the object being displayed. Twenty percent seems to produce a solid result. Use the compact version if you need to display an item with more height. If you can think of other variations or needs, let me know and I'll try to modify the design to suit your requirements. I'd love to create a useful piece that prints quickly and can be downloaded and used by everyone. Edit: Additional photos have been added. The first printed version was rough, but it served as a test. One of the few instances where an idea and 3D model turn out exactly as intended on the first try, despite being a little rough around the edges but fully functional. New pictures show a small standard stand and a larger version featuring the compact design.
