Shelf for exceptionally lightweight models (my current focus: a growing assortment of Metal Earth 3D laser cut models). Design constraint: no visible mounting hardware, yet greater strength than double-sided tape was required. Solution: a floating shelf system utilizing French cleat design. Two pieces comprise one shelf system: an anchor to be screwed onto the wall and a shelf to hang off it. Available in two sizes: 50mm deep by 250mm long and 80mm deep by 250mm long. The anchor accommodates both sizes. This is specifically designed for lightweight models; do not attempt to perform exercises that would put excessive strain on the shelf, such as pull-ups or rock climbing practice.
