DISPLAY MOUNT for TFT32_L V4.0 in CREALITY CR10 MKS GEN L UPGRADE
thingiverse
I'm upgrading my Creality CR10. The MKS Gen L V1.0 board has more memory, allowing me to set up numerous welcome features. This board powers TMC2130 stepper drivers. The FTF32 color touch display is a fantastic feature compared to the standard display. On Thingiverse, I couldn't find a suitable solution for mounting the 3.2" TFT display in its original housing, so I created my own design. A mounting bracket for the MKS GenL V1.0 board can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/make:614652 The hole in the housing where the original LCD screen was located will hold the TFT display. The base is secured to this opening with four M3 screws. The TFT display is attached to the base and covered by a snugly fitting cover. If my measurements are correct, the top of the metal case will align with the new display mount. On the side, the USB connector and SD card reader remain accessible. Future update: Print the items and take photos to document the final solution. February 26th, I wanted to make final z-height adjustments when printing starts. This feature called "babystepping" is activated by double-clicking the CR10 button. Since this option isn't currently available on the MKS TFT screen user interface, I've put this project on hold for now. Does anyone know how to access the "babystepping" feature on the MKS TFT28/32 displays?
