Mounts securely onto a standard lightbulb base and allows for versatile attachment of various small items as long as they have a flat bottom and fit snugly within your lamp's shade. I personally utilized a blindspot mirror purchased from the RV department at Walmart, securing it with the double-sided tape provided, to achieve a broader field of view while sitting at my desk.
