Display Hanger/Banana Hook & First Layer Torture Test
thingiverse
I designed this display hanger to showcase my [Monster Hunters Scoutflies Lantern](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3367331), but it has inspired many uses beyond its original intent. My wife was immediately drawn to its potential as a hook for hanging bananas, allowing them to ripen perfectly. This stand stands 243 mm tall from the hook to the base and is specifically designed to display the lantern, which measures 230 mm in length. To accommodate varying designs of the lantern handle, I'm also creating an extended version with 267 mm clearance, which will be available soon. Read the notes in Print Settings carefully before attempting to print this design. ### The Challenge Achieving perfect filigree detail is a daunting task, but the intricate design's visual appeal makes it worthwhile. Any minor imperfections are skillfully hidden by the filigree pattern. To succeed, ensure that all settings are precise, as anything off will result in a failed first layer and a messy build plate. The delicate balance between achieving flawless filigree and securing proper adhesion requires patience and attention to detail.
