Display Frame and Stand
pinshape
I'm gearing up for the Maker Faire Bay Area, and to grab attention, I want my social media handles on display - but not just anywhere! A plain piece of paper won't cut it; I need something that stands out and is easy to navigate. With a few simple tools like a pencil and 3D printed parts, this display comes together seamlessly. For the pins and cap, I highly recommend using rafts for maximum stability. Initially, I considered using an 8mm diameter wooden dowel, but after printing the base, I realized a standard pencil fits perfectly in its place. This realization led me to rethink the entire design, opting for a more ergonomic solution - enter the trusty pencil! To bring this concept to life, I turned to Autodesk Fusion 360 to handle the design and modeling tasks.
