Display for oni skull

I Designed Display Boxes with Leds Created for http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1086818 (oni Skull Hollowed) in a Moment of Inspiration. To bring this unique project to life, I decided to print two torii. Each box features carefully crafted areas for wires and 2 Leds, perfectly designed to light up the intricate oni skull design. Next, I added a lantern-inspired touch by drilling out certain areas and attaching string for a delicate finish. Inspired by my previous creation, I now have the urge to reprint them in white and infuse a more traditional Oriental style into these lovely display boxes. Unfortunately, I ran into an unexpected problem while washing my printer: I shattered the glass plate. What was meant to be a routine cleaning process ended in disaster. Luckily, my attention to detail is impressive. When I needed to connect two AAA batteries, the pre-drilled areas made it ridiculously simple to wed them together seamlessly. My printer may be out of commission temporarily due to the broken glass plate, but it did allow me the time to get this design done. A tag completes the project. For future purposes, I deliberately chose to use adhesive instead of securing it firmly in place, allowing myself flexibility should my plans change. This decision gave me the option to avoid incorporating a switch for the leds since I needed it elsewhere – now on its way to a new and exciting future project!
