A display case built from IKEA wall shelf parts is designed with innovative features, including handles and stoppers that incorporate magnetic inlays for a smooth closing mechanism. To print the necessary components, follow these instructions: - Print 4x2018_Display-Case_Bracket_V1.0 to secure side glass. - Use 2x mirrored prints of 2018_Display-Case_Bracket-Hinge_V1.0 to secure side glass and base for hinge of outer doors. - Print 8x2018_Display-Case_Hinge_V1.0, which are the hinges that hold the acrylic glass with cut corners in place. - Print 2x2018_Display-Case_Double-Bracket-Hinge_V1.0 as the base of the hinge in the center of the display case. - Use 4x2018_Display-Case_Stopper_V1.0 to stop doors in their closed position; the bottom parts have magnets embedded during printing. - Print 4x2018_Display-Case_Handle_V1.1, which are handles with magnets embedded during printing and glued to acrylic glass using double-sided tape. For a grippy surface, print them with fuzzy skin (Cura setting). Installation requires precise alignment of the shelf components for a seamless fit. Double-sided tape is used to attach all brackets to the shelves, while fast-curing plastic adhesive holds the acrylic glass in place. Required hardware includes: - IKEA Wall Shelf LACK: available at https://www.ikea.com/ch/en/catalog/products/90282180/ - Magnets: purchase from https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00TACKN4M/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - Acrylic glass: can be found in any hardware store, and the desired shape can also be cut according to technical drawings.
