Detailed Discussion in this video: https://youtu.be/CczqSuy2NOw. This system empowers you to attach a device to a display and keep the device perfectly aligned with the display. If the display spins, the device will rotate accordingly. This feature is particularly useful for gadgets like Eye Gaze devices for users of Assistive Technology (and gamers alike) and possibly cameras and more. This system draws inspiration from our prototype "Watch band" mount for the Tobii EyeX eye gaze device: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2266941, which should be considered outdated. To utilize this system, you will need a Base, some links, and a device connection. Currently, we have one base (the VESA mount) and two device connections (the EyeX and 4C eye gaze devices). Additional bases such as tablet & laptop mounts as well as additional devices such as cameras are being added to this system. Assembly Instructions: To connect the hinges, use #6 or 1/8" bolts at least 2" long. Alternatively, M4 metric bolts at least 50mm long (55 or 60 is better) can be used. Matching lock-nuts are recommended and will be secured. You can order Imperial #6-32 bolts here: https://www.boltdepot.com/Product-Details.aspx?product=1548, along with matching nuts: https://www.boltdepot.com/Product-Details.aspx?product=18193. M4-60 bolts can be ordered here: https://www.boltdepot.com/Product-Details.aspx?product=17895, accompanied by matching nuts: https://www.boltdepot.com/Product-Details.aspx?product=4802. In either case, we found it beneficial to insert neoprene washers to help the flat side of the screw gain friction.
