This back for the Display Housing by chrisvk adds the space and span to insert a D1 Mini NodeMCU (https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B0754N794H/) and also an expansion shield for a 18650 Li-Ion battery charger (https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B086W7326Q/). To make the latter fit, you have to remove the USB-A connector and solder a multi pin connector to wire it.
