Disneyland Small World Facade

I love taking my mom on the It's a Small World attraction, it's her absolute favorite thing to do each visit. Every time we go, she insists that we make it a "must do" and I never argue with her because it truly is an iconic experience. The original version of this beloved ride made its debut at the 1964 World's Fair in New York City. This intricate 16-piece model showcases only the very front of the Disneyland version of the ride, and I'm proud to say that it's my very first design project. After watching my son create countless 2D Disney logos, I thought learning SketchUp would be a breeze, but boy was I wrong! It's like trying to skate with pros - they make it look effortless until you step onto the ice yourself. Luckily, my son was more than happy to lend me a hand with the bell and ball in the bottom left section, the hourglass frame on the top right section, and some of the finer details on the face. Be sure to check out his amazing Disney designs and other creations at https://www.thingiverse.com/B_Layne/designs. This model was created using SketchUp and printed with eSun PLA+, utilizing a single extruder that pauses and switches to achieve the multiple colors. A range of hues were used, including cool white, dark blue, light blue, gold, and gray. When printing this model, be sure to use a 0.4mm line width for all parts except the gold details, which should be printed at 0.3mm line width for maximum precision.
