Disney Infinity Hex Disc Holder

Disney Infinity Hex Disc Holder

UPDATE Sept 12 2016, 2:11AM -- Scrapped all but the hex disc portion of the rescued STL file I had, accidentally deleting the original file and realizing that the original posted STL would have allowed for little room to fit due to the narrow space. -- Made the peg support/joiner a bit heavier. -- Included screenshots from Slic3r preview for a better understanding of the concept. Feel free to print and post results. I've designed this with the best intentions, using measurements of my own hex discs and source photos from Google. It should work perfectly fine, but I welcome criticism. This is a modular holder for the Hex Disc pieces in Disney Infinity, featuring pegs that can join additional holders. I didn't place holes in the piece because people might prefer to choose their own bolt/screw diameter or even set it on a desk without mounting it on the wall. Print Settings Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: I'd use at least 0.2mm resolution. Infill: Yes, probably at least 15% or more. Notes: I modeled this after the gameboy cart holder. I'll be designing figure shelves and may use similar designs further on, but my printer is currently out of commission, so I'd love feedback if this works as expected. How I Designed This I took measurements of my own disc and extruded a pattern that I used Cinema 4D to multiply and remove from a block.
