This is a disassemblable 3D printer enclosure I custom-built for my E3D BigBox printer, but you can easily adapt it to fit any other size printer. It can be taken apart and stored when not in use. The concept is straightforward; the case is constructed with square (and hollow) aluminum tubes connected by 3D printed corner pieces. In every corner piece (except for the roof), I attached a small (10x10x4 mm) neodymium magnet, making it very easy to disassemble or rebuild the case. The entire enclosure can be assembled in under a minute. The side perspex panels are mounted with magnets so they can be removed if you need to access the printer for maintenance. You can install an 80mm fan to regulate the temperature, but I found that the temperature rarely exceeds 35°C, even when printing with the heated bed at 120°C. Printing filament used: PLA and Taulman Alloy 910 Print settings. I printed the corner pieces and the hinges with Taulman Alloy 910. You can try another material, but Taulman worked perfectly for me. Avoid using PLA since it is too brittle! I printed the corner pieces horizontally with raft and support, just to ensure that the pieces were 100% straight, as Alloy 910 tended to warp a little on my PEI bed. Infill was at 20%. The parts fit snugly in the aluminum profiles; I had to tap them in. Don't tap directly on the pieces, but use something like a piece of wood to cushion the blows (or use a dead blow hammer).
