A replacement roller is needed for an old dishwasher's basket (Rosenlew model), as the originals are deteriorating. The material may have been chosen for good bearing, but suggests designed obsolescence. Other required parts include a pin/hub that connects the roller to the basket, made of more robust plastic. Similar parts can be found on Thingiverse. The replacement part was created in FreeCAD with fully parametric dimensions, although adjustments may need testing and updating. FreeCAD is similar to SolidWorks and has video tutorials available online; using the latest "daily" release is recommended for new features.
