Dishwasher Clean Dirty Indicator

We needed a clear indication system for our dishwasher, but none of the designs on Thingiverse met our standards. Deciding to create our own from scratch, we drew inspiration from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3610941 . The magnets used are specifically chosen at 8mm*3mm for the slider and 13mm*3mm for the main magnets that hold it securely in place on the dishwasher. It's essential to remember to pause your slicer so you can embed the magnets within the print. To ensure a strong bond between the plastic and the magnets, we recommend lightly scuffing them with sandpaper and cleaning with alcohol. Both of these magnets possess considerable strength. To prevent them from jumping out and adhering to the hotend, we applied a small drop of superglue at the bottom of each hole. Through multiple prototypes, we achieved perfectly sized magnet voids. Results may vary. PS: Make sure to orient the magnets correctly so that the two base magnets attract the slider magnet! Since they're embedded, you only get one chance. You might want to mark the side of the magnet with a dot using a sharpie to remind yourself which way it should face up.
