Dishrack Basket Holder
thingiverse
I edited the design on April 5, 2020, rounding the corners slightly to keep water out and enhance its appearance. A Fusion 360 f3D file has also been added for modification purposes. This is a dishrack/drainboard basket designed for a common rack found in many US hardware stores. The rack features a large opening at one end that allows items to fall through and back into the sink, along with a small basket in the corner. The design fits over the last dish support, providing ample width at the base to hold numerous items. Two clips at the top secure it to the rack, while a slit at the bottom enables water to drain out without pooling at the bottom. Supports are required for the two clips and the drain crevice. The print was executed right side up with the clips at the top, necessitating two towers. One tower came loose during the print but the outcome turned out satisfactory despite this minor setback. The design was printed on an Ender-3. A Fusion 360 file has been included for modification purposes, allowing users to make most adjustments by entering new parameters rather than editing the model itself. Upon reprinting, I would round the vertical corners slightly for improved results.
