Dish Rack - The Drying Elephant - Dish Dryer Rack

Are you also doing your dishes by hand? Well I do and I got really tired of drying my cutlery by hand and I had nowhere to place them... So, I took matters into my own hands and designed an elephant that would change the game. Inspired by Peleg Design, this ingenious device uses a clever channel and angle on the inside to let water flow outwards from the snout of the elephant. It's a masterpiece that prints best with soluble materials like PVA and PLA. The inside is perfectly fine without support, but the legs are still a bit tricky to remove if you're using only one extruder. I'm working on an update right now! Check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txySkuefKJE Printer Settings Printer: Flashforge Dreamer Rafts: Doesn't matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.1-0.3 Infill: 10-15 Notes: You can get great results with a single extruder! I printed with Orbi-tech PVA as support material, and let it soak in cold water overnight. Post-Printing Clear coat = waterproof With just two or three layers of clear coating - yes, I know it sounds excessive, but trust me on this one - the model is fully waterproof. Water flows out from the snout, leaving my cutlery sparkling clean. How I Designed This I designed this beauty using 3ds Max Custom Section See for yourself how everything was made!
