Dish Rack - The Drying Elephant - Dish Dryer Rack

I do my dishes by hand. I got really tired of drying my cutlery and had nowhere to put them, so I designed this elephant inspired by Peleg Design. It uses a channel and angle inside to let water flow out from the snout of the elephant. This design prints best with soluble materials like PVA and PLA. The inside is okay without support, but the legs are a mess when trying to remove PLA if you use only one extruder. I'll update this soon! Watch me on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txySkuefKJE. Print Settings: Printer: Flashforge Dreamer Rafts: Doesn't matter. Supports: Yes. Resolution: 0.1-0.3 mm. Infill: 10-15%. Notes: You can get good results with a single extruder! I printed with Orbi-tech PVA as support material, which dissolves in cold water overnight. Post-printing: Clear coat makes it waterproof. Using two to three layers of clearcoating, both inside and out, the model is fully waterproof and all the water left on the cutlery channels out from the snout.
