Dish Drainer Cup
pinshape
Mother broke her dish drainer cup, so she decided to make a new one that's even better. She added ribs around the edge to reduce the risk of failure from horizontal forces, like when someone bumps into it while hurrying by. The uneven line on the cup is due to a power surge and continuing the print after a glitch. To get good adhesion to the build surface for supports, she printed with the drain slots touching the surface. Settings: PLA at 200C, Bed at 60C ABS would also work well, providing more durability in contact with water Infill is set at 20% Supports are recommended, especially under the hooked area, with good build plate adhesion and a properly leveled bed with proper nozzle retraction. An overhang of 81 degrees is suggested, and supports should be printed at less than 45mm/sec, while the rest can be printed at 45mm or faster.
