Disguised Avatar, done for pinshape contest
pinshape
I designed my avatar for the Design Your Future Avatar Contest, hosted here on pinshape. My avatar is all about being anonymous, playable, and humanoid - perfect for using standard gear. I wanted high defense and speed, with a focus on close combat. When in playable mode, it shouldn't look too approachable, since I'm not a fan of in-game chatting. My inspirations are diverse: Ready Player One, a cool book; Summer Wars, a lovely anime; spider legs for her hands; lobster legs for arm parts; and moth wings for the clothing. As for printing, I haven't had the chance yet - probably messed it up! I'd love to hear about your experience if you've given it a try. This is my first full-body character, posed and all, and I learned a lot from it - had so much fun too! The contest was an amazing excuse to invest time in this project. Kudos to brunocamara.art and BlackSpire for their incredible entries!
