Puzzle description:Tetrominoes with gaps consist of four elementary squares, but these no longer have to be immediately adjacent. Of course, these tetrominoes are now falling apart and we have to add bridges to prevent this. The task is to fill a 7x12 rectangle with 21 disconnected tetrominoes of the type x-xx-x. The bridges at the back of the disconnected tetrominoes do not affect their assembly. If you can read German: Mehr Informationen gibt es in https://welt-der-geduldspiele.blogspot.com/search?q=3D-DruckPuzzle difficulty:The puzzle is not very difficult. No force is needed to bring the pieces in the correct positions. All bridges can be hidden in the tray. The problem of filling rectangles with identical diconnected polyominoes was statet by Erich Friedman in 1999: https://erich-friedman.github.io/mathmagic/0299.htmlPrinting instructions:Print 21 of the disconnected tetrominoes. Use different colors to distinguish the pieces.A tray for the 7x12 rectangle which hides all bridges is also provided.Prints are fine with no supports.I printed the puzzle in PLA at 0.1 mm layer height. This puzzle is work in progress. It was designed using Puzzlecad (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3198014). There might be bridges of different form which give a more stable result.
