Here is a rear bracket model for the platter of a DiscoEasy200. It is a derivative of the front bracket intended to replace the two small independent original brackets. As you can see, I added springs (with washers and longer screws) between the brackets and the platter to precisely adjust the flatness of the platter when the head moves. I make the correction with a screwdriver based on the information obtained when running a macro executed on Pronterface (available below) displaying the gap between the plalpeur and the platter in 4 points. Unfortunately this method of adjustment required a fairly rigid support and the two original parts rotated around the bearings preventing the correction from being properly applied. There is a classic version and a BRIM version to avoid any warping problems at the bearing receptacles. The installation of this support is quite tedious (especially to pass the belt through) but it allowed me to considerably improve the flatness of my plate, by extension my first layer and finally my entire prints. I don't use CuraByDagoma's autoleveling feature anymore because it's better to avoid trying a software correction that depends on a sensor that's sensitive to a whole bunch of parameters over a rather reliable hardware correction.
