Disco Bucky Screw Ball

Disco Bucky Screw Ball

I've been cranking out spherical screwballs this week. I designed the outer shell using Wings 3D and imported a screwball model. The threads lock down pretty tight. Print Settings: Printer: XYZ Da Vinci 1.0 Pro Rafts: None needed Supports: Not required Resolution: .2mm - doesn't make a huge difference with this model Infill: 10% probably won't affect the outcome Notes: Prints come out super easy. I'm not sure if it's water-resistant, but it feels solid. Post-Printing: Just pop it off the build plate and you're done. How I Designed This: I used Wings 3D to create the outer design, then fixed it in 3D Builder. Next, I split the model and made it hollow using Tinkercad. Finally, I combined it with a screwball model in the XYZ slicer program.
