I designed this new 3D printed upgrade that I call Disc nut 12mm 2.0 specifically for the Traxxas 4 Tec 2.0 to address a critical design flaw where the pins go in the original design. This new version eliminates the need to use a Dremel power tool and drill bit, making it much easier to deal with that issue. The Disc nuts 12mm 2.0 have a fresh new look, just like the originals, and come in five different sizes to tackle the problem of wheel offset. If you want to download these files, simply choose the settings for your 3D printer based on its capabilities and your skill level. Once you've got them printed, it's a breeze to remove the stock wheel nuts and install the new ones. A quick glance at the photo should show you exactly what they look like once installed. Enjoy! I highly recommend setting your 3D printer to 100% infill if you're using PLA filament. If possible, use a higher-quality filament for even better results.
