Disc Golf Disc Models
thingiverse
Flying disc inspired from my personal experience with disc golfing. Using knowledge of discs I've thrown, I ensured the ratio of dimensions matched those of a PDGA-approved disc. Designed for disc golfing when made full size, smaller models show how different rim geometry and specs affect flight shape when thrown. Two files are attached: one for a putter model and the other for a driver model. The putter was designed with normal/mid stability while the driver was designed to be extremely overstable, affecting its flight path's curvature. When throwing right-handed on a backhand, the disc naturally falls left regardless of mold. This means the driver model will curve harder left than the putter, a noticeable difference.
