Please examine my reengineered adapter: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4493259 Adapter allows using a Dirt Devil F2 HEPA filter on a mask or PAPR system with 40mm NATO/RD40 fittings. I possess a PAPR blower and noticed reduced airflow when using dual P100 pancake filters, slightly less so with a 40mm particulate canister filter. This vacuum cleaner HEPA filter seems to have superior airflow than either setup, prompting me to give it a try. Materials on hand were used to create a gasket for the connection. It is tight and requires thinness. The connection was wrapped in silicone tape to ensure an air-tight seal. Poor 3D skills necessitated a hacked-together design, but it functions as intended.
