This adapter is designed for use with Dirt Devil cordless vacuum cleaners that come without flexible hoses as standard equipment. I find it extremely useful for cleaning cars, which reduces the overall length of the handheld portion and provides better access to tight spaces and stubborn spots. The component may need to be resized in your slicer, the base should have a 38mm diameter, tapering up to ~36mm at the locking collar. The two recessed rings are intended to help secure zipties or hose clamps of your choice.
