DirektDrive Extruder, ready for flexible filament
thingiverse
Hotendholder and fanduct are remixes of Toolson's MK2 P3Steel, as seen at www.scheuten.me. The Simple DirektDrive Extruder works exceptionally well for me, even with flexible filament. To replicate this design, you will need the following components: The Hobb-Goblin E3D / MK8 Drivegear is a suitable alternative to the original part. A Bearing 624-2Z and a Spring are also required. I recommend using the Nema17 Stepper motor from omc-stepperonline.com (http://www.omc-stepperonline.com/3d-printer-nema-17-stepper-motor-2a-45ncm64ozin-17hs162004s-p-16.html). A 35x35x10 radial fan from Delta Electronics is necessary, and can be purchased at Digikey (https://www.digikey.de/product-detail/de/delta-electronics/BFB03512HHA-AF00/603-1361-ND/2560485). A COB LED, M3 & M4 screws are also needed. For the fanduct to function properly, it must be mirrored for the second fan.
