DIRECTV to OTA TV Antenna Adapter

After spending some time researching ways to boost my cheap OTA TV antenna reception, I took a weekend project to design and 3D print this little adapter that allows a low-cost flat OTA TV antenna to be installed in place of the original cone of an unused DirecTV satellite dish. We'd had this old DirecTV dish just sitting above our garage doing nothing for years after we moved into this house, so I attached a cheap antenna using this custom adapter, pointed it towards the nearest towers, and instantly picked up lots more free TV channels with a much more reliable signal on my favorite shows. v1.2 was an initial prototype that allowed the antenna to move slightly more freely around its base. v1.3 is redesigned for better security and smaller size, keeping the antenna firmly attached to the 3D printed part.
