The modeled director's chair had an intriguing design that caught my attention for its impressive outcome. To create this masterpiece, I began by designing it using Inventor software. However, due to the limitations of Maker Bot, several revisions were necessary; such as merging four individual legs into two solid ones and having all back parts on one layer. Despite these changes, the final product was a remarkable achievement! When building this design, bear in mind that bottom layers cool faster than top layers, causing unevenness. To achieve a smoother finish, use a heated build platform to ensure uniform cooling and shrinking. Additionally, consider the size of your platform as it must support the entire chair - if insufficient, the model may begin building off the edge, leading to failure.
