Directional fan grid for electrical cabinet (120mm)

This custom fan grid was crafted specifically for an industrial electrical cabinet fan outlet. The original grid provided only basic protection against accidental contact with fan blades, yet lacked flexibility to redirect airflow generated by the fan.This bespoke grid measures 30mm in depth to seamlessly integrate with the fins and is designed for optimal performance with 120mm 24V fans commonly used in industrial cabinets.To ensure secure installation, I strategically engineered the corner slots to accommodate M4x40 or M4x50 cylindrical head bolts.In a notable departure from standard design practices, I intentionally avoided fluid simulation on this part, as Fusion360 does not offer this feature. Nevertheless, the resulting design has been observed to produce a noticeable reduction in fan noise levels.
