I own a 32-inch Samsung flat screen television, which I've mounted on my wall using a custom-made mount designed to hold my DirecTV box securely beneath it. The half-round spacer fits perfectly into the space under the TV where the stand was originally screwed in. To assemble this mount, you'll need either a small wood screw or a sheet metal screw to join the two components together. I've made a slight modification to this design - dtv_mount(3) - which I've incorporated into my latest creation. Additionally, I've added little tabs that fit snugly into slots at the bottom of the receiver, preventing it from sliding around and ensuring a stable installation process.
