Direct Mount Guitar Pickup Springs

I was solid mounting my pickups and realized that I needed something to help raise the pickups to give them some degree of adjustability. Some people use foam to minimize rocking but I didn't have any foam so I created a rudimentary spring to provide a bit of upwards pressure to keep the pickups stable and also allow them to float upward if I loosen the screws. You'll need to hold the pickup at the desired height and thread the adjuster in until it mates with the nut that is secured to the body (hot glue/epoxy/etc) Orientation of the spring should not matter.
