I built this direct-driven ball valve to regulate steam flow from my DIY boiler, mimicking a proportional valve's functionality. This design is more compact and simpler to build than geared ball valves. I used a 1/4 NPT 304L stainless steel ball valve (available online for around 5 euros) and it's controlled by an MG996R servo. The "Knob" program from the servo library runs on the Uno board. Feel free to suggest improvements, and happy printing!
