1/22/2017 UPDATES: 1/24/2017 624 bearing idler changed to press fit, lip widened for extruder flange so it's not too tight to install, other nut hole changed to 3mm 1/24/2017 PTFE inner and outer ports added along with tweaking size and simplicity 1/26/2017 624 bearing now held by flat head m4 bolt and nut Widened the PTFE counter-bores. Widened the cold-end flange height. Removed strange flange that prevented easy idler inspection and cleaning 2/27/2017 Stiffened the 624 bearing holder, no longer needs flat head to fit a bolt head to hold the bearing More to come! for 1.75mm extrusion Remixed around cheap Chinese hot end off eBay, existing designs BOM BOLTS: M3 X 5 (3) M3 X 20 (4) M3 X 50 (4) M4 X 10 (1) NUTS: M3 (5) M4 (1) ALSO: 624 BEARING (1) PTFE FOR 1.75MM FILAMENT (ABOUT 40MM) CABLE TIES (6) Optional 40 mm fan Changes: Standard OD for the cold end (16mm flange OD & 12mm shaft +.1mm/-0mm), with a flange height of 5mm. Idler remade for a 624 bearing. Spring tension idler is now made fore a m3 nut & bolt. Modified to hold PTFE for minimal resistance by request.
