The device can output 3mm filament at 35mm per second; faster speeds necessitate a stronger motor. A 4.4 kg-cm stepper, powered by 1.3 Amps, is utilized. Due to minimal vertical clearance, tall objects are printable. Although not featured in the images, a front-mounted 40 mm fan cools the extruder motor.
