Direct drive conversion for CR-10(S) with E3D V6 and Bondtech Extruder
thingiverse
This is a re-upload of my popular direct drive conversion for Creality printers (originally developped for the CR-10). The original model was accidentally deleted from Thingiverse. This is the design from which Bondtech derived his own upgrade kit as well as Triangle lab (https://www.bondtech.se/product/direct-drive-upgrade-kit-creality3d-cr10s/) I personally no longer use it and no longer own a CR-10 The design is based on : - A bondtech BMG extruder - An E3D V6 hotend - A 50x15 blower - A 40x20 Noctua fan You can use any 40x20 fan but if you don't use the Noctua you will need to grind slightly one edge of the fan to clear an interference with a screw that attach a V wheel. The rear part it attached to the carriage with 3 M3 screws. For the 2 screws that are on each side of the hotend, you need to use countersunk head screws with a washers (else you will have interference with the hotend radiator) All screws are M3 but apologies, I no longer remember what exact length they are. There are some videos on Youtube that show how to assemble it. Here is a nice one : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=he-LrpDTUPc
