Bowden direct drive : I've designed it in two parts to make printing easier and to improve the pneumatic connector's hold. For smoother filament gliding, I added two PTFE tube pieces. After printing both parts, you'll need to assemble them and drill a 2mm hole through the motor axis area using a 2mm drill bit. This is necessary even though the design calls for a 2mm diameter filament path. To safeguard the lever and printed components, I've wrapped PTFE tube around the M6 screw that holds the lever in place. This also allows for smoother lever movement. I created two mounting brackets: one for aluminum profile 4040 (which I printed) and another for aluminum profile 2020 (not tested). For the main parts required: + One bearing, size 625 + A pneumatic connector PC4-10 in M10 + Twenty-two millimeters of PTFE tube with an outer diameter of four millimeters + Twenty millimeters of PTFE tube with an outer diameter of four millimeters + Twelve M3 washers + Six M3 screws, thirty millimeters long (three for holding the motor and three to keep the two parts together) + Three M3 nuts For the lever that keeps the filament in place: + One bearing, size 608 + Two M3 washers to secure the bearing + An M8 washer placed between the printed part and the 608 bearing to prevent friction between the lever and the bearing + One M3 screw, twenty millimeters long + One M3 nut + A spring + One M6 screw, thirty millimeters long + Two M6 washers + Twenty millimeters of PTFE tube with an outer diameter of eight millimeters + One M6 nut All printed components were created using a 30% infill and a minimum wall thickness of one millimeter.
