Direct Drive
thingiverse
I designed this direct drive, hot-end, radial fan and z-induction sensor holder to better print flexible materials. As a side note, I also installed a special cable system for my Prusa i3 Steel which can be added - I'll attach a link later on. The holder is made for E3Dv6. 1. It can be used with nema17 42 mm or smaller. 2. All marks for nuts are designed for M3, but are a bit too small. The reason is that the nut should be heated and pressed into the prepared hole, making it easier to disassemble without having to attach them from behind. 3. This holder is designed to be easily removable - I'll upload a video later when I'm done testing. 4. I'm designing a fan for the system but this is still in the alpha phase. A link will be added soon. 5. If you need any additional holes or modifications, let me know and I might add them. The original file is also available for your convenience. 6. Please share a picture in the comment section if you want to - it would be great to see it working elsewhere!
