
Dipole Support for Yagi Antenna for locating Radiosonde

This is a small support and enclosure for a 5-element Yagi antenna. The antenna operates at 404 MHz and is used to locate radiosondes both on the ground and in the air. With a bit of sealant applied to the contacts, it can be mounted outdoors on a rotor or pole. The two parts are printed with supports. All holes in the aluminum components have M4 threads. A plastic screw (M5 size) is used for the dipole. Parts needed: 1x 15x15x200 square aluminum profile 2x 5.5x200 circular aluminum profiles 4x M4 grub screws to secure directors and reflectors 1x 11x2x200 aluminum strip for the main dipole 2x M4 screws to connect cable to dipole 2 meters of RG-58 cable 1 BNC to RG-58 connector All necessary sizes for assembly are shown in the final photo.
