Two Variations of a Simple Dipole Insulator Are Developed. A basic Dipole Insulator is composed of two parallel conductors separated by an insulating material. Two common variations of this design are presented here. 1. The Parallel Plate Variation: In this configuration, the two conductors are in the form of parallel plates with equal area and spacing. This setup allows for maximum capacitance and a straightforward calculation of the capacitance value. 2. The Coaxial Cable Variation: Here, one conductor is in the center, surrounded by another conductor that takes the shape of a coaxial cable. This configuration provides isolation between the two conductors while still allowing for efficient energy transfer.
