dipole antenna center support with so-239 mount and painters pole adapter
thingiverse
I quickly constructed a portable dipole mount for SOTA ham radio operations using a telescoping painters pole that extends up to 30 feet. I created the center connection point by attaching an SO-239 mount on one side and a female adapter from a painter pole or broom handle on the other, carefully angling the corners to prevent the mast from getting stuck in trees when used as a vertical support. I integrated the dipole print with thumb screws for rapid wire connections and designed a quick disconnect system to separate the bands as needed. This setup allows for efficient deployment and adjustment of the antenna configuration without compromising its structural integrity or compromising signal quality.
