Dipole antenna 915 mhz for quadrocopter
thingiverse
Dipole antenna 915 mhz for quadrocopter designed with precision and care. In version 2, I utilize a sturdy tube sourced from a reliable 3D printer supplier. The total width of the dipole antenna used is 140.8 mm, with a wire thickness of 1.5 mm^2. Assembling this robust antenna is straightforward: first, I insert the tube into the quadcopter on both sides, then measure and cut it to the desired length. Next, I straighten two pieces of wire (1.5 mm^2) that are 3-4 mm longer than needed, and carefully insert them into the tube. Following this, I insert a coaxial cable into the model, strip its insulation, solder the 1.5 mm^2 wires in place, seal the center with hot melt adhesive, and finally trim the excess wire on both sides of the tube. This entire process can be completed within five minutes. For version 1, without using a tube, I opted for an antenna length of 144.4 mm.
