Diplomacy set
thingiverse
This is a compilation of the [ship](http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:714358) and [tank](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:713140) designs created by [Oana](https://www.thingiverse.com/Oana). A huge thank you to Oana for making these models available! I find it much easier to position them in Openscad than relying on the slicer to do it. I use Cura and arranging items in a logical pattern isn't its strong suit. I've placed 12 ships and 12 tanks on the plate, matching the same number of tokens as Avalon Hill includes in their 50th anniversary edition of the Diplomacy game. The Openscad file is included, allowing you to space or arrange them differently if desired. The code should be straightforward; however, you'll need to download Oana's models exclusively if you want to use the Openscad file. To print one set for each country/player, follow these steps: Country | Color ---------|--------- Austria | Red England | Dark Blue France | Light Blue Germany | Black Italy | Green Russia | White Turkey | Yellow These are the colors specified in the Diplomacy game; feel free to use any colors you prefer. As Oana noted, no support is required. I printed without a brim and had excellent results. This makes it much easier without a brim since you don't have to remove them. Due to the simplicity of the models, you can print at low resolution and still achieve very acceptable results. I printed at 0.3 layer height and 25% infill; on my Monoprice IIIP, this takes around 45 minutes per set, and they look great.
