The DIP iPart is designed for producing DIP IC chips with 4 to 28 pins, each at a width of 0.3". It offers customization options like enabling or disabling the pin 1 dot and semi-circle divot indicator by adjusting table values. Pins are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the package, while corner pins have flat edges without outside corner shoulders.
