This adapter fits perfectly into the X-Carve Dewalt 611 mount, and it also works seamlessly with other 69mm diameter spindle mounts. It accommodates a 40mm square blue laser module of 1-7 watt power without losing any machine workspace area or requiring X,Y offsets in G-Code. To use this adapter, simply remove the router or spindle and set it aside. For laser modules under 3 watts, you'll need to turn the beam on and off using Spindle On. Modules with 5 watts or higher have separate control boards that utilize the PWM signal from the CNC control board. Wear eye goggles specifically designed for blue lasers at all times. The typical distance between the laser housing and workpiece is 38mm; focus the lens to achieve a fine laser dot. Always wear eye goggles specifically designed for blue lasers. You will need four M3 x 12mm long screws and four M3 flat washers.
