If you don't have access to a 3D printer, or would like to support my hobby, I have a shop where you can purchase this set. Visit StoreAllTheBits Online Store. In the beginning, the people were worried their dinosaurs would rampage through their Dinosaur Island box, eating all the visitors, and so the Dinosaur Island Insert was given to the people and they were happy. Now, the waters are not safe, and the people are worried once again. Behold, the Dinosaurs All The Way Down insert designed to hold all the game pieces for both Dinosaur Island and the expansion -- Totally Liquid (TL)! This gets a little complicated so bear with me as I step through the insert and how it fits across the DI and TL boxes. Yeah, between the tightness of the Dinosaur Island box, and the avalanche of new material in the Totally Liquid expansion, the Totally Liquid box is needed, along with the DI box, in order to store everything. The TL pieces breakdown into two main groups: * Additional standard pieces - these are pieces to add to the game even if you aren’t using any of the expansion * Expansion Modules - Five additional modules that can be mixed and matched, including a 5th player Looking at everything, I tweaked the existing Dinosaur Island insert to accommodate the additional standard pieces in the Dinosaur Island box so you can carry just the main box and play. Surprisingly, with all the new standard pieces (6 additional dice, Specialist and Plot Twist cards, Recipes, and paddocks), it's a great fit. Here is what you need to print for Dinosaurs All The Way Down: * 2 x TL_Dino_Cash_short - Optional - if you want to leverage two trays instead of a single deep box * 1 x Player Tray v2 - This fifth tray goes in the TL box * 3 x TL_Facilities_Tray-v6 * 2 x TL_BoardLock_v2 - These are used in the TL box to lock the boards in place to prevent shifting in the box * 1 x TL_Card_Tray-v2 * 1 x TL_Marine_Creatures_v4 - This stores all the marine dinos, as well as recipes and paddocks. NOTE: The blank Marine Creatures recipe tile goes in the PAIR tray, instead of here * 1 x TL_Modifiers_Notched - This goes in the DI box and takes the place of the original Modifiers piece. It has two compartments, one for plot twist dice, and one for the original modifiers tokens Check out the Dinosaurs All the Way Down Tips and Tricks link for instructions on how to integrate the pieces, as well as the modifications required for the TL cardboard insert. Note: The Dinosaur Island X-Treme edition box (which is the version of the base game that was offered during the 2nd Kickstarter) is slightly shorter in height/depth than the original Dinosaur Island Deluxe edition box. The end result is that the inserts for the Dinosaur Island box will impart a bit of lid lift when the box is closed. UPDATE: 05 Jan 2019 - The original TL_PAIR file has been updated to TL_PAIR-v3. I was alerted that the wells were oversized for some of the sets of tiles, and also received some great feedback about separating the 3+ and 4+ tiles to further ease setup. So, TL_PAIR-v3-15mm is the result. This new version of the tray is slightly shorter in length and should have wells sized correctly for the tile counts (My original Deluxe version of DI evidently had an extra punchboard).
