Dinorwig Quarry Wagon Chassis (for PLA Printers)

This is a Dinorwig slate quarry wagon chassis designed for 009 scale model railways, specifically intended for use with the Dinorwig wagon bodies I have also published here. The chassis has been crafted to work seamlessly with Dundas Models' 5.5mm 009 wheelsets. To maintain a suitable scale width, it was necessary to exclude pin point bearings, but these still run remarkably well within the bearing holes. A narrow slot at the end of the chassis accommodates a Greenwich coupling, providing a secure connection point for linking wagons together. Please note that, on my printer, the axle boxes have been prone to fragility due to their small size, resulting in some breakages during wheel installation. However, once the wheels are securely in place, they have proven to be reliable runners with no issues reported so far.
