I needed a lamp for my dining table, so I made one from scratch. To ensure safe operation, the sockets are designed to accommodate 12-volt GU5.3 bulbs only. Using 12 volts is crucial because the wires are exposed, and touching them with a voltage that high could be fatal. The build consists of a sturdy steel tube and several 3D printed components: The tube itself measures 20x20x2mm, fabricated from high-grade ISO 4019 standard steel square tubing. The sockets were expertly crafted in black PETG for added durability.
