Here is a valve cap to keep debris from getting into DIN valves on scuba tanks. My 3D printer has a tendency to oversize objects slightly, so I scaled down the design by approximately three percent to ensure that the threads flow smoothly. A small hole in the top of the cap allows for the passage of nylon cord, which can serve as a retainer.
